Newborn Session at Home in Raleigh

Just a few weeks after their maternity session, I had the honor of visiting this sweet family again — this time at home with their beautiful new baby boy in their arms. This journey to parenthood was not a simple or straightforward one, which made every little moment with their son feel even more special. From the moment I walked in, it was easy to see how deeply loved this baby already is. The quiet snuggles, gentle soothing, and little smiles between them all felt so natural and effortless.

In-home newborn sessions are some of my favorite sessions to photograph because they capture families exactly as they are in this season of life. No pressure, no rushing, and no need for elaborate posing — just your real connection in the place that already means the most. The soft light throughout their home created such a peaceful atmosphere for documenting these first days together.
