Christmas Tree Farm Mini Sessions • Wake County Family Photographer

This season was my very first year offering Christmas tree farm mini sessions, and I’m already counting down to next year. Families from all over Wake County — including Apex, Cary, Holly Springs, and Fuquay-Varina — came out to celebrate the start of the holidays among rows of evergreens, warm light, and plenty of laughter.

There’s something magical about photographing families at a tree farm. The setting is festive without being over the top — soft light, fresh pine, cozy sweaters, and genuine smiles as kids run between the trees or help carry the “perfect one.” It’s a relaxed and joyful way to capture your family before the rush of the holidays begins.

Every holiday mini session was short, sweet, and full of personality — from toddlers giggling in wagon rides to couples sneaking a quiet moment among the trees. Sessions like these remind me why I love being a family photographer in Wake County — documenting connection, joy, and a little holiday spirit in a way that feels natural and timeless.
